Several Higher Education Institutes from Ireland will be participating in the Irish Education Fairs in April, 2008 in India as per the following schedule:

06 April, Sunday - New Delhi

At each fair venue there will be information available on Education in Ireland and student visa procedures. Representatives from the various universities and institutes will be there to meet students first hand and provide information on the institutes, courses, admission criteria, costs etc.

Irish Literary Festival in India
India Habitat Centre, New Delhi

The Irish literary festival will introduce many contemporary Irish writers and themes to India, and will showcase the travelling James Joyce and Samuel Beckett anniversary exhibitions as well as presenting readings and interactions featuring contemporary Irish novelists and poets - Dermot Bolger, Gerard Donovan, Oisin McGann, Conor Kostick, Claire Kilroy, John Boyne, Glenn Patterson, Anne Haverty and Anthony Cronin.

Admission is free and the events are open to the public.
